Kennewick, WA- Families in one Kennewick neighborhood are coming home tonight to some sudden changes.
What used to be two vacant lots on Wyoming Avenue, two completely framed houses sit on their foundations.
About 40 workers started framing the houses around seven this morning. By ten, they had the roofs nailed down.
The Home Builders Association of the Tri Cities and Habitat for Humanity plan to have these homes finished in just five days.
"By tomorrow we'll be doing the drywall and we'll be done by Thursday," says HBA Executive Director Jeff Losey.
Several builders in the Tri-Cities have chipped-in to get the houses move-in ready by Friday.
The homes will be purchased by two families through habitat for humanity's affordable mortgage program.
