KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 7:15 p.m. for southern Walla Walla, northern Umatilla and southeastern Benton Counties.
At 6:42 p.m. the National Weather Service Doppler Radar continued to indicate a severe thunderstorm. This storm was located near Touchet or 17 miles west of College Place, moving north at 30 mph.
Another strong storm was located just south of Pendleton. Other locations in the warning include but are not limited to Lowden, Burbank, Garrett, Walla Walla east, Walla Walla and Dixie.
For your protection move to a sturdy shelter until the storm passes.
