RICHLAND, Wash. -- Seven Hanford Falcons signed their way out of the nest Wednesday.
Senior athletes gathered at the high school to put their finishing touches on their collegiate futures. Friends, parents, and coaches took part in the joyous occasion.
Former Academic All-Star Jordan Bird signed with Puget Sound to play volleyball, Morgan Freeman, the University of Great Falls to play basketball, and R.J. Harris heads to Eastern Oregon for football.

The seniors are happy to be moving on to play at a higher level.
"It's amazing that there are so many that are signing," said Freeman. "I think it's more than last year. I don't remember, but it's great. You know your friends are going to different schools, and I wish I could go to the same school as them."
"I'm excited. I got a future ahead of me now, and it only goes up from here," said Harris.
