Yakima, WASH.- A student who says East Valley teacher Michele Taylor was trying to seduce him took the stand. He is also the person who reported that Taylor allegedly had sex with another student.
Michele Taylor listened as one of her former students testified against her, stating Taylor would text him flirtatious messages.
"That if she was in high school I'd be a guy she would try talking to," said the student.
The student says Taylor and him eventually were texting back and forth several times a day, almost everyday.
"She texted me saying that not to text her anything too bad because her husband was the jealous type," said the student.
In their texts and phone calls, the student says Taylor admitted to having sex with another student in the K-Mart parking lot. He says that is why he never took up her offer to hang out after school.
"I was scared that if I went over there, stuff would happen that shouldn't happen," said the student.
The student says he told the principal about the texts and Taylor's confession to having sex with a student. That's when Taylor was put on leave from East Valley High School.
"Saying that she was sorry and she shouldn't have told me and that it was hard for her to stop calling because she felt it was breaking up," said the student.
Taylor's defense attorney says she was reaching out to this student and he misunderstood what was going on.
The trial for Michele Taylor will continue next week.
