Yakima City Council hosts listening meetings this week
YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima City Council will host the first of three listening meetings for the public Tuesday night as a chance to hear from residents about any and all topics relating to the city.
The meetings will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week at different locations throughout Yakima.
Each meeting will feature displays about two major council related issues. One will cover the recently approved Gang Free Initiative. Another display will focus on what some consider the city's single largest public works construction project, the Lincoln Ave. underpass project.
All meetings will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this week. If you miss any of them, you can catch them on Y-PAC next week.
