Teen captured after Pasco Shooting; SWAT called out

Posted: Updated:

Neighbors in fear and several schools in lockdown after police and a SWAT team contain an area in East Pasco.

Our cameras were there for an all day stakeout as police worked to capture a teenager with a gun accused of being involved in a shooting over the weekend.

It was a chaotic scene for most of the day as local law enforcement barricaded a six-block area surrounding Hugo Street to try and capture a 15-year-old suspect.

Today police tracked down and locked up the teen who fired several shots that hit another teen during the alleged gang related shooting just two days ago.

After the suspect was taken into custody around 2:30 pm. all schools in the area were no longer on lock down. Police have cleared the scene and opened up the streets again.

Because the suspect is only 15-years-old we cannot release his name or picture.
