OREGON -- Did you know there is program in Oregon that will pay you *lost wages* if the company you worked for closes? It's called the Wage Security Fund.
If your employer shuts down and can't afford payroll, that's when the program steps in. The state will pay workers the amount they earned during the last 60 days of work, up to $4,000.
