Walla Walla Sweet and USC Infielder Comments on Trojans' Sanctions

Posted: Updated:

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Walla Walla Sweets 3rd baseman, Matt Hart is a U.S.C. infielder. So, KNDU asked him to weigh in on the sanctions laid on the Trojans football team by the NCAA.

The Trojans will lose 30 scholarships over the next 3 years and are banned from bowl games for the next 2 seasons.

The NCAA violations primarily involve heisman trophy-winning tailback Reggie Bush.

Hart says he thinks the punishments are ludicrous.

"I think it's ridiculous, honestly," said Hart. "I mean, talking about all over the country. There's stuff like guys taking SAT's for guys and those guys don't get in trouble but we get a 2-year ban. I mean he's (Reggie Bush) the top selling jersey of all time. He deserves a little bit of money, right."
