YAKIMA--Yakima's very own talent show got started Saturday.
About 40 people of all ages performed for the judges at the Seasons Performance Hall.
The top twenty performers this weekend will move on to next weekend's finals. One contestant tells us why she participated.
"It was something new for me," 11-year-old Elise Toney said. "A lot of people have told me that I have a really exciting and open voice and I can do a lot of different things with it."
Tryouts continue at 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Anyone can perform after paying the $10 entry fee.
You must show up at Seasons before noon Sunday.
