Pasco, WA-The second week of a Tri-Cities murder trial is off to a slow start.
A visibly annoyed Superior Court Judge Cameron Mitchell, stopped the trial this morning to give time to the defense team to prepare its argument over certain evidence.
Vicente Ruiz is accused of murdering five men 23 years ago in a Pasco auto body shop. Prosecutors want to call to the witness stand several people who identified Ruiz at the scene of the crime.
Some of those people now say they can't remember speaking to the police or identifying Ruiz.
Testimony will resume this afternoon.
