Convenience store robbery in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Two teens are in jail for allegedly robbing a convenience store in Kennewick early Tuesday morning.

Kennewick Police say around 1:00 am, 18 year old Eduardo Martinez Jr. walked into the Max Mark at 4th and Olympia St. with 19 year old Marcus Frank waiting in a car outside. Police say Martinez showed a gun and demanded cash from the clerk. The pair were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

About 45 minutes later, Prosser Police found the suspect vehicle with just Frank inside. He was retested for Felony Eluding. They recovered a gun and cash from his car.

Later, Kennewick Police were able to identify the second suspect as Martinez Jr. They found him at his apartment in the 100 block of Conway. He was arrested around 1:00 pm Tuesday afternoon. Both suspects have been booked in the Benton County Jail.
