YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima Valley Pet Rescue volunteers will be adopting out cats and kittens this weekend.
YVPR will be on hand Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 4p.m. at the Petco in Union Gap. Anyone interested in adopting a cat, can print out an application at www.yvpr.org or fill out an application at the event.
Cats are spayed and neutered, and are up-to-date on their vaccinations. Cost to adopt a cat is $40. Kittens will come with a free spay or neuter coupon if they are too young.
Yakima Valley Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization. They are not a shelter, but provide ways to connect pets to foster homes, in hopes to find a permanent home for these pets. YVPR also have dogs available for adoption.
