A Walla Walla man is in an Oregon jail after drugs and a gun were found in his car during routine traffic stop.
An Oregon State Police trooper arrested 24 year old Pisteo Kasala around 2:30 AM Sunday in the Clackamas area. The trooper found approximately 5 lbs. of marijuana and a loaded handgun concealed in the vehicle.
Kasala was originally pulled over on Interstate 205 near milepost 12 for speeding and failure to maintain a single lane of travel.
A canine was used to find the marijuana in the trunk. Estimated value of the seized marijuana is $12,000. They also discovered a loaded Glock handgun was also found concealed inside the car.
KASALA was arrested and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail for unlawful possession and distribution of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office also assisted during the stop. The OSP Drug Enforcement Section is continuing the investigation.
