Clint Didier candidate for US Senate tours Yakima factory
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Clint Didier, a former NFL player now running for US Senate toured a Yakima factory Tuesday.
In an effort to understand and promote local business Didier toured Irwin Research and Development. Didier is an alfalfa farmer in Eastern Washington. He's running against fellow republican, Dino Rossi and incumbent democrat, Patty Murray.
"I don't have any political experience, nor do I want any because believe me I want to listen to the people when I get back there to DC," said Didier.
Didier said he's not worried about overcoming the democratic block on the Westside. He said he's getting plenty of support from unions. Former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin, recently endorsed Didier. Also on hand today, local candidate Michele Strobell, running in the 14th District.
