Pasco, WA- A murder trial expected to last half the summer will start all over again in the fall.
Prosecutors and defense lawyers will begin looking for a new jury in late august for the third trial of Vicente Ruiz.
Superior Court Judge Cameron Mitchell declared a second mistrial this week after the defense team received a delay to review new potential evidence.
Ruiz has been in jail since September 2006, 20 years after five men died in gunfire at a Pasco auto body shop. Ruiz is accused of being the second gunman. His cousin pleaded guilty to the murders and is serving a life prison term.
The trial is expected to last between six and eight weeks.
