KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Water is back tonight after an excavator cut through a water main in Kennewick.

At 8:51 AM Friday morning, crews working at a construction site of North Quay St. near the Vista Field airport hit a water main, sending water spewing 30 feet into the air.

Part of the street was flooded, causing crews to temporarily close part of West Deschutes Avenue. It took crews about two hours to stop the geyser.
