Water line break in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A small water line break caused a Kennewick convenience store to be without water for a few hours Wednesday morning.

City of Kennewick crews say water started bubbling up through the pavement in a parking lot off Clearwater Avenue near the 3400 block.

Crews traced the leak to a copper pipe that broke, causing it to leak. The city says only the Grand Central Coffee Station and convenience store was out of water.

The leak was fixed by 9:30 AM.
