KENNEWICK, Wash.- Work will begin on Edison street in the next few weeks.
Water pipes on Edison street are 50 years old and need updating. The new lining of the pipes will prevent future cracking and you from losing your water.
About 400 feet of liner will be reinforced. The liner protects the pipe from damage. The lining takes one day but the overall project can take up to a week to complete.
During this time 5,000 customers will be without water. K.I.D will inform the public before their water is shut off.
