KENNEWICK, Wash. - The new farmers market at Southridge Village has been open for almost a month now and has been a big success.
The market has over 35 vendors selling local and regional goods. Some of those include fresh produce, flowers, wine, breads and desserts. Spokersperson for the farmers market, Ann Steiger says because of the weather certain fruits are not yet available.
"As the weather gets better we'll start seeing the produce coming to fruition or be able to be harvested and then that's when the farmers will start seeing the produce coming into the market," said Steiger.
The next farmers market will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Southridge Village.
