KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The list of Washington State Offices that are going to be closed on Monday, July 12th is growing. To save money, the one day closure affects the Liquor Control Board, but liquor stores will be open. Other closures include Medicaid offices, the Health Care Authority, Labor and Industries offices, Department of Health and the Washington State Patrol. Washington State Patrol offices around the state will be closed July 12th and August 6th, but troopers assured us, they will be on the roads those days and 911 calls will be answered just like every other day. are not affected. "The office itself will be closed, but the Washington State Patrol is not closed," said Sgt. Zachary Elmore. " So if you have an emergency you can call 911, we will respond, we will have troopers on the road, we'll have supervisors on the road.
