Kennewick, WA-A Benton County judge has sealed all investigative documents in the case of the former mayor of Prosser.
The attorney representing Linda Lusk says if the media gets its hands on the police reports and other evidence, it could become impossible for Lusk to get a fair trial.
At her court appearance last month, Lusk pleaded innocent to third degree child molestation.
Prosecutors say Lusk had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy earlier this year.
Judge Robert Swisher has sealed all documents and set a hearing for two weeks, when media outlets can argue to have the documents made public.
