KENNEWICK, Wash.- Volunteer veterinarians are now treating over fifty neglected cats.
Over fifty cats were found at a Kennewick home after a woman was evicted. Neighbors have been trying to save the cats ever since. But most have infections and are sick. Seven have been put down, twelve died and over fifty are being treated.
With the help of the veterinarians and Lee McPeek, a concerned friend of the landlord, some of the cats will survive. Those who can't volunteer their time have donated food and even an air conditioner. Every little bit helps, but they still need more.
Now Lee is looking for people to adopt. If you are interested in adoption or if you want to donate, you are asked to call Lee McPeek at 460-9782.
