ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The vice president for student affairs and enrollment at Central Washington University has accepted a new role as vice president for student success.
Charlotte Tullos, who began her leadership of the enrollment division in 2001, resigned Tuesday to accept the new role.
"I'm very pleased to have her expertise available to help us develop strategies to enhance students' experience on campus and to operate more efficiently than ever," said CWU president James L. Gaudino in a statement.
In May, university leaders announced a series of changes that included placing the division of student affairs and enrollment management under the division of academic affairs.
Leaders said the consolidation was made to reduce administrative costs. Something they felt was important after losing more than $30 million in state funding in the last two years.
