Pasco murder trial pushed back

Posted: Updated:

Pasco, WA-Prosecutors and defense attorneys have agreed to push back the trial of a man charged with murder.

Pasco police arrested Gregoria Luna Luna last may for stabbing his ex-girlfriend at her apartment.

Court records show 21-year-old Griselda Ocampo Meza had filed a protection order against Luna Luna.

The two reportedly had been arguing over their five-year-old son.

Luna Luna's trial had been scheduled to start next month, but his lawyers say they wouldn't be ready by then.

Judge Robert Swisher today told the prosecutor and the defense team to work together to pick a realistic date for the trial.
