Arrest made in 4th Street homicide case

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Arrest made in the 4th Street shooting where a 15-year-old died after being shot in the head.

Yakima police arrested a 17-year-old suspect Wednesday afternoon in Yakima. The suspect has been charged with second degree homicide.

Detectives are not releasing the suspect's name at this time.

The shooting happened on April 28 in the 1000 block of N. 4th Street.

Police said a second person was shot in the arm. He was later treated and released from the hospital.

This shooting is being investigated as gang-related.
