RICHLAND, Wash. -- A $25,000 bronze statue brings people together at the Richland Farmers market.

The sculpture honors one beloved dog who made regular visits to patients at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Bodie was a certified therapy dog, and was well known in Richland. His owner, Cindy Irwin says she was touched to see people come out to honor the special canine on Friday.

Richland City Leaders say Bodie was such a big part of the city that people in the community and local companies donated $10,000 to get the statue made. Click here to learn more about Bodie.
