Organizers say there was doubt whether or not this year's Gay Pride Parade would happen, but after working with Pasco police, the city decided to move forward and have the fourth annual event at Memorial Park.
We talked with one man who says it's a good thing for the community to have so many people involved in this weekend's festival.
"I think it's great. I like that we have so many supporters. People are coming out and I've never seen so many," Tony Lopez said.
Those who attended say they've seen the parade grow in the past couple of years and believe it's important the city continue to allow these festivals to happen in the future.
