COWICHE, Wash.- A fire in Cowiche that has been burning for over 24 hours has destroyed two outbuildings and one vacant building owned by U.S. Fish and Wildlife. It has also damaged many fruit trees in the area.
The fire is now 35 percent contained, however gusty winds are expected for Monday night.
Crews are being sent home Tuesday, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
