TOPPENISH, Wash.-- A Toppenish girl was pulled out of a burning vehicle in the fatal crash that killed two people Monday night.

Washington State troopers said Remigio Valdez, 40, and Reyes Valdez, 62, both of Toppenish, were killed when another driver ran a stop sign at Larue Road and Olden Way.

An 11 year-old girl was also in the truck.  Troopers said she was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. They haven't released her name, and we don't know her condition.

"She was looking at me, and I was trying to pull her out and I couldn't get her because the seat belt. So I reached in, cut the seat belt strap and tried not to move her," said Mudd Walker, who pulled the girl out of the vehicle.

The driver of the van, Mabel Cultee, 50, of White Sawn was taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
