Woman accused of plotting to kill husband makes suspected "to-do list"
PASCO, Wash. -- A 38 year old woman is behind bars, suspected of conspiring to murder her husband.
Michelle Murdock was arrested Friday, July 23rd. According to court documents, Michelle allegedly made a "to-do list" and was planning to kill her husband, John Murdock, by injecting him with a tranquilizer then throwing him down the stairs.
Investigators say John called police after their live-in nanny told him of Michelle's alleged plans.
"Through that investigation we determined that Murdock had made a substantial step to carry through with a possible murder," said Franklin County Sheriff's Detective, Lee Barrow.
Neighbors who live near the Murdock's were surprised. Micha Schmitt said, "It's surprising to see that especially in this area, and upper-scale, higher income area."
Michelle is in the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies say Murdock was arrested in the 9400 block or Red Roan Ct. just outside of the Pasco City limits. An investigation is on going.
