PASCO, Wash. -- An 11 year old boy has been pulled from the Columbia River at Wade Park in Pasco off of Road 54.
Pasco Police were called to the scene of a possible drowning at around 4:30 PM Tuesday afternoon. Dive and Rescue teams also assisted.
They say the boy was playing with his brothers in the water. He went under but never came back up. Rescue teams say he was under water for about 30 minutes and taken to Lourdes Medical Center.
They believe the boy got caught underwater because of milfoil. In that area the milfoil was about 6-7 feet.
As of Tuesday night, the Franklin County Coroner has not been contacted in regards to his death. Police are not yet releasing the boys name.
