Thieves caught on tape

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.— Thousands of dollars of t-shirts and tents were stolen at the Water Follies, and we caught it on tape.

A viewer called in and said our video we aired showed four men stealing his tents.  We were covering the Water Follie clean-up, and we had no idea we were also catching thieves on tape.

$2,500 worth of Americomm tents and $3,000 worth of Gecko Gear Tye-Dye Clothing shirts were stolen before business owners could clean-up after the big weekend.

The suspects are described as four white men.  If you have any information you are asked to contact Kennewick Police.

Beth Hallen, owner of Gecko Gear Tye-Dye Clothing, wants to thank Tri City Water Follies Association, Kennewick Police and her customers for all their help and support.
