YAKIMA, Wash. -- Korey Ward has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for a string of arson fires that happened in 2007.
Ward, 24, has been in jail since October 2008. He will get credit for time served and good behavior toward the 84 month-long sentence.
After his sentence is served, he will also have 3 years of community custody. During that time, he is forbidden to possess or use any material that can start a fire.
Ward was found guilty on 6 of 7 second degree arson charges.
