KENNEWICK, Wash.— More than 50 cats were left after a woman was evicted from her home. We first broke the story weeks ago.
The cats are now being trapped and held in transfer cages. The trapping will take a few days. When all the cats are trapped, they will be spayed and neutered then taken to their new home on a farm. Volunteers say they aren't leaving a single cat behind.
Over $4,000 worth of donations has been donated to saving the cats since we first brought you the story. 20 have died from infection or starvation but most have been saved. About eight of the cats will be adoptable. We will update you when the cats are ready to be adopted.
