YAKIMA, Wash. -- The McAllister Museum of Aviation will be hosting its annual airplane presentation this Saturday.

Visitors will be able to set their eyes on a Grumman F7F Tigercat.

The plane named "Bad Kitty" will be flown into Yakima by John Sessions, founder of the Historic Flight Foundation.

Sessions' F7F-3 is one of only six Tigercats still flying. The plane is based at Paine Field, near Everett.

The Tigercat was designed as a World War II carrier-based combat plane, but problems with landing on carriers kept it from seeing such service.

The Historic Flight Foundation acquired Bad Kitty in 2003.

Sessions will give an oral presentation about the plane at 2 p.m.

McAllister is located at 2008 S. 16th Avenue in Yakima. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
