YAKIMA, Wash. -- Drivers can expect delays on Monday in the areas of Naches and the Wenas Valley as the County begins its annual chip seal treatment for county roads.
County leaders want to warn drivers to observe all speed limits to avoid loose gravel. Crews will work on the roads from about 6:30 a.m. until about 3 p.m. in the afternoons.
The Bituminous Surface Treatment project will continue through parts of Wenas, West Valley and the mid-Valley. Expected date of completion for the project is by mid August.
