Kennewick, WA- More than one-thousand families in the Badger Mountain area should have their irrigation water back by tomorrow.
The Badger Mountain Irrigation District says a lightning strike on Saturday may have caused the damage at the main pumping station.
The outage has affected the Rancho Reata area and several neighborhoods in South Richland.
Several corn, wheat, and grape growers along the foothills of Badger Mountain today were able to resume watering their crops.
The irrigation district says everyone should have their water back on by tomorrow evening.
