KENNEWICK, Wash.—There's a new website that actually keeps track of the errors your health care provider makes.
The state law requires hospitals and medical facilities to report the 28 types of different mistakes. They are then logged by the State Department of Health, and now available for anyone to see.
On the website it shows from June 2006 to March 2010 780 reports were made station wide. 57% of them pertained to patients with pressure ulcers.
Now hospitals can take this information and improve their services, and you can check them out by going to the web site below.
