Disciplinary action against two Yakima health care workers

YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Washington State Department of Health has taken disciplinary action against two Yakima health care providers.

Kenneth David Barconnier, Sr. was granted application to become a chemical dependency professional trainee under conditions set against his certification. He was convicted of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and assault.

Tammy Lee Roybal was charged with unprofessional conduct by the Nursing Assistant Program. She was convicted of two counts of identity theft.

Disciplinary actions were taken against Barconnier, Sr. and Roybal in July.

Health care providers have 20 days to respond in writing to the Department  of Health.
