Planned Resolution turns into stabbing

Posted: Updated:

Last week a fight between two people under the age of 18 lead to a stabbing in Pasco, and now, police are dealing with another similar situation.

Police say it happened at the Bombing Range Sports Complex in West Richland.

We're told the suspect, a 15 year old girl, and the victim, a 16 year old girl, were actually meeting to work out their problems.

Obviously things changed because officers were dispatched to Yokes Market after the stabbing victim called, saying the 15 year old stabbed her several times before speeding away in a car she took without permission from her mother according to police reports.

The victim was treated by medics, then transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As for the 15 year old suspect, she was arrested near her home and booked on second degree assault and taking a motor vehicle without permission.

Police did not release their names because they are under the age of 18.
