SEATTLE (AP) - Police say they haven't yet uncovered a motive in a shooting rampage at a Seattle home that left four dead, including the woman believed to have opened fire.
Officers responding to reports of gunfire Thursday afternoon were confronted by a chaotic scene with gunshots still ringing out and a wounded woman fleeing from the house telling police, "My mom's gone crazy."
As police arrived, a man ran into the home and two shots were fired. He ran back out, telling officers his wife had shot herself.
Police say they believe a woman in her 50's found among the dead was the shooter. They say they don't believe anyone else was involved. Two women in their late teens and a man in his 30s were also among the dead. The wounded woman is in serious but stable condition.
Police say they've recovered two handguns from the house.
