New classes for adults

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.—Have you ever wanted to learn how to pour tea, or cook allergy-free?  Well, the Kennewick Community Education now has more classes than ever.

The catalogue displays more than 100 classes offered to adults.  The Kennewick Community Education program has been around for about 20 years.  This year they have added 34 new classes.

A few examples are classes on tadding, how to cane a chair, and when to get an attorney.

"I would encourage people to pick up our brochure look through it and take a look at things that maybe you weren't even considering, things you didn't think you would be interested in, or things that you never considered before, because you might find something there that will peak interest, or you'll look down and say that's something I've always wanted to do," Terry Andre, Community Education Coordinator.

The classes can be found online at http://www.ksd.org/communityed/

You can even offer your own idea for a class.
