PASCO Wash;-- Wednesday morning firefighters were called out to a house fire in Pasco, and were told there might be somebody inside.
The fire was under control shortly after firefighters arrived.
Neighbors said there was a dog in the house, but he was able to get out and into the backyard without any help.
Firefighters originally believed an elderly man was trapped inside when they arrived.
"We had a report that there was someone in the house so we went ahead and did a quick knock down of the fire with an offensive attack," says Captain Dave Hare of the Pasco Fire Department.
Luckily the man said he was at church when all this happened, and says he's glad his dog is ok.
