SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Two Jack in the Box employees were caught dealing drugs by an off-duty Sunnyside police officer, Tuesday morning.
The officer saw the two men walking out of the fast food restaurant, located on 100 E. South Hill Road, just before 11 a.m. Police say one of the men handed the other one a small bag of marijuana out of his vehicle, before they headed back to work.
After searching the vehicle, the officer found a digital scale, glass pipes, bags and 44 grams of marijuana.
Sunnyside police arrested Omar Urbina, 27, and Geronimo Pina, 19, on possession of marijuana charges. Both men are from Grandview.
Urbina faces additional charges of intent to deliver with a school/daycare enhancement because the location was within 1,000 feet of a child care center.
