KENNEWICK, WA -The Benton County prosecutor and a defense team have picked a jury for the trial of a woman charged with murder.
After four days of questioning a pool of 160 people, Superior Court Judge Robert Swisher Thursday swore in ten men and four women to hear the evidence against Phien Sisouvanh.
Sisouvanh is accused of murdering a pregnant woman in Columbia Park and cutting the unborn child from the womb.
The child survived.
Sisouvanh has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity.
The prosecutor will call the first witness to the stand Monday morning.
