WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Walla Walla County Deputies are searching for a driver involved in a hit and run collision.

13 year old Brennan Adams was riding his bike along Frog Hollow Road just west of the intersection with Valley Chapel Road around 7:30 AM Thursday. He was hit from behind by a red hatch back type vehicle.

Investigators say Adams was thrown off his bicycle and landed in a ditch along the roadway. A witness says he saw the car hit something then keep going. It appears the driver hit the brakes after hitting Adams but then left the scene.

The teen was wearing a helmet and did not suffer any life threatening injuries, but may have a broken ankle.
