Mid-Columbia Library book sale coming up this weekend
KENNEWICK, Wash.- The Friends of the Mid-Columbia Libraries are gearing up for their second annual "Giant Book Sale" at the Kennewick Library.
Volunteers have been working for the past week to set up for the event, which is this weekend. All the money raised from book and DVD sales will go towards library programs and resources, says Ruth Dupuis, President of Friends of the Mid-Columbia Libraries. She explains, "We have so many worthwhile projects that we sponsor that it's really worthwhile, and we really want everyone to come to our book sale."
The sale will be Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1 and 2nd, from 9am to 4pm. It'll continue Sunday, Oct. 3, from 1pm to 3pm at the library on Union Street. The books range from 25-cents to $5.
