YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima Fire Department is holding its 16th annual Spaghetti Feed, Tuesday afternoon.
The event is in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week.
This year's national theme is "Smoke Alarms: A sound you can live with."
Firefighters will be preparing their trademark spaghetti sauce in the morning. The food will be served at Fire Station 1, located at North Front Street and "D" Street, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meals will include garlic bread and salad; and for an additional dollar, pie for dessert.
There will be fire safety information and kid's activities at the Spaghetti Feed.
Cost for adults is $5; and $3 for children 12 and under and seniors.
Proceeds from Tuesday's Spaghetti Feed event will go to Children's Wishes & Dreams of Yakima.
