Proposed bridge one step closer

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities is getting one step closer to building a new bridge to cross the Columbia River. The steering committee for the project will be ready to make its final review after meeting with members of the community.

The goal will be to narrow down the three best locations for a new bridge, and then forward their choices to the Benton-Franklin Council of Governments for action.

The public is invited to the meeting on October 13th at 6:30 PM at Chiawana High School in Pasco to learn more about the project and to give input.
