MOXEE, Wash. -- Two boys face burglary charges after they were spotted at the old Moxee Elementary School on E. Seattle Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
A witness notified Moxee police when they saw two suspicious subjects around the building. Shortly after that call, police were contacted by the alarm company after the alarm was activated inside the building.
Yakima police officers and Yakima Sheriff's deputies also responded to assist Moxee police.
Two boys were seen leaving the school grounds, but were eventually stopped by police and taken into custody.
Moxee police say the suspects confessed to the burglary and were booked into the Yakima County Juvenile Justice Center on burglary charges.
Police have not said what items, if any, were actually stolen from the building.
